After considering the global Electric bus (E-buses) market scope in 2014, China has become the world’s biggest domain market. According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) (Figure 1), China produced 30,057 E-Buses in 2014, including 797 Hybrid Buses (HEV bus), 16,500 Plug-in Hybrid Buses (PHEV bus) and 12,760 Battery Electric Buses (BEV bus). This has encouraged both Chinese bus manufacturers and battery manufacturers to concentrate on E-bus battery technologies.
