President Ma declared on May 16th that 1.3 million traditional lamps would be replaced by LED lamps starting from 2011, and in the future, government departments will also be equipped with LED lamps. According to the estimates by business operators, the replacement of traditional lamps around Taiwan will bring business opportunities worth of over NTD10 billion, it is expected that Epistar, Everlight, LiteOn, and Delta will benefit most.
