Since facing many challenges from several emerging countries and existed predominant nations, the petrochemical industry in Taiwan has dedicated in changing its generous role these years to adapt in the turbulent and fluctuating trend. Thus, “High Value-added Petrochemical Industry”, the goal of government and companies in Taiwan to pursue, is necessary to be introduced in every particular. This article illuminates all about “High Value-added Petrochemical Industry” including its history, the effort Taiwan has put, and the respective allies under this process.
