Impacted by the lower growth rate in emerging markets, slowdown in China's manufacturing sector, and weak demand for end-user products, the output value of Taiwan's IC industry in 4Q15 (including IC design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing) reached NT$563.2 billion, representing a QoQ decline of 1.9% and an YoY decline of 4.6% compared to the previous year. The annual output value of Taiwan's IC industry in 2015 stood at NT$2.264 trillion, representing an YoY increase of 2.8%.
