摘要
The annual output values and percentages of export sales for Taiwan's foundry industry are shown in Figure 1; the output value increased from NTD 49 billion in 2001 and reached its peak at NTD 93.8 billion in 2010. Furthermore, the value has remained above NTD 90 billion for 5 consecutive years since 2010, except for the short-term decline in 2009 due to the financial crisis. In terms of export sales, even though there were ups and downs in recent years, the percentages always remained above 40%. However, in 2015, the percentage of export sales dropped to 44.6%; the export value decreased under the impact of economic downturn, and the output value was also reduced to NTD 87.3 billion in 2015 due to the overall economic recession and export slump.
