According to the data from the Department of Statistics, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), in the first quarter of 2013 the estimated output value of the man-made fibers industry is shown to be 36.5 billion NT Dollars, with a 5.4% negative growth compared with the first quarter of 2012, accounting for 32% of the total textile industry outuput value; the textiles industry is estimated at 70 billion NT Dollars, with a 1.1% negative growth compared with the first quarter of 2012....
