The fourth quarter is normally the peak season for netbook PC shipment in Europe and US as it has been envisaged as the most wanted holiday gift. In the fourth quarter of 2010, netbook PC shipment continued to see growth but at a relatively weak growth momentum. It is observed that the fourth-quarter netbook PC shipment was mainly affected by the iPad craze. iPad has been ranked as the most-given gift by consumers and the most wanted holiday gift among all electronics products in Europe and US.
