Taiwan’s auto parts industry was created with the founding of Yulon Motors in 1957. Since then, along with the increase in automobile factories and car production and the rising consumer awareness of quality, most automobile makers have developed flexible manufacturing technologies for a variety of small-volume car production based on localized process automation such that the quality has caught up to international standards and the product technology has been significantly improved.
