The Developments of Global Medical Electronics and Semiconductor Industry

On May 18, 2010 the National Science Council(NSC) approved the National Intelligent Electronics Program(NIE Program), which it is hoped will help Taiwan’s IC design firms to expand beyond their original focus on the “3C” industries (Computing, Communications, and Consumer electronics) into the “MG+4C” market, which adds Medical electronics, Green electronics and Car electronics.
