The Production Status of Taiwans Nylon fibre Industry remained the third largest nylon fibre producing country in the world for last ten years

According to the statistics provided by the Japan Chemical Fibers Association (JCFA) in 2012, the total nylon fibre production in Taiwan in 2011 has attained 340,000 tons, marking a 5.3% decrease from the 359,000 tons in 2010. There is still a big gap between the production volume of Taiwan and that of the USA (598,000 tons) and Mainland China (1,573,000 tons). China, therefore, remained steadfast as the world number one nylon fibre producing country in 2011, followed by the United States. Taiwan was ranked third.
