A Review for Taiwan’s Electronic Materials Industry in 2010 Q2 and Future Prospects

The overall production value of electronic materials in 2010 Q2 reached NTD 82.4 billion, referring to a 10.4% growth in comparison to 2010 Q1, and a 61.1% growth with the same period for last year (2009 Q2). The electronic materials industry continued its growth in Q2. Among them, the semiconductor materials, PCB materials and energy materials industry had a larger growth, which the quarter growth for energy materials reached 27.2% high and exceeded in expectations.
